Leaving an abusive relationship can be just as scary as living in one. It’s the time when victims, whether women and children or men, are most likely to be seriously harmed or murdered by their abuser.
Did you know that, on average, most women will attempt to leave an abusive relationship between five and seven times before successfully and permanently doing so?
That’s why Visible Hope created this platform. It’s so that survivors (mostly women) all across the country can share with the world how they left an abuser, started their healing process and how it has affected them moving forward. It is our hope that other victims will be encouraged to leave while they still have a chance. A chance to share their story instead of someone telling it for them. A chance to say, “The last time was the last time!” You have a voice and we want to hear it!
Attention: If you want to remain anonymous you can…Where the form ask for your name you can just type anonymous there. On the featured image part you can just use any picture in your phone for example: images of nature, old house etc. if you don’t want to use your own photo.
