Every day men and women across the globe struggle to feed their children a nutritious meal. In a world where we produce enough food to feed everyone, 820 million people – one in nine – still go to bed hungry every night. Even more – one in three – suffer from some form of malnutrition.
Suppressing hunger and malnutrition is one of the great challenges of our time. According to studies by a person not having the right balance of food resources in will slow progress in many areas of development like education and employment. But we can end hunger in our lifetime if you take the pledge today. For a mere $1 a month, we can end hunger together. Visible Hope is making real-time changes in communities right now concerning hunger issues and we can only continue with your support and efforts. Just over the past year, we’ve connected with other countries that has invited us over to assess hunger issues in their community and come up with a plan that could help them in their hunger efforts in their community.
In July, 2018 we will be headed to Kenya, Africa doing just that. We also would like to assist them with in-kind donations of medicines, educational material, personal hygiene products etc. We will be there for a duration of 30-days. This is enough time to get our feet on the ground and make a positive change in the community. In October, 2018 we will be going to India to offer the same service to communities surrounded by children there as well.
