ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Support Founder and staff by performing any assigned clerical duties.
Perform basic office tasks, including answering the door, greeting guests, and offering snacks.
Respond to emails, process mail, copying/faxing, filing, etc.
Inventory office supplies, and assist with ordering them when needed.
Maintain telephone lists, and address lists.
Assist program participants with any paperwork, and questions regarding community programs.
Assure that documents flow in a coordinated manner.
Oversee office functions during the absence of Founder or Vice President.
Participates in and assists with organization events.
Assist with presentations, meetings, etc., as needed.
High School graduate or equivalent, preferred.
Must be at least (18) years of age.
Able to adhere to attendance policy, along with organization’s rules and regulations.
Minimum of (1) year experience preferred, but not required.
General knowledge of spelling, punctuation, grammar, and office procedures.
Basic knowledge of office machines.
Basic knowledge of telephone skills.
Basic computer data entry skills, and use of current software preferred, but not required.
Effective social interaction, outgoing personality, and excellent communication skills required.
Great organizationals skills required.
Ability to work with diverse populations, and in teams is a must.
Ability to perform tasks efficiently with little to no supervision.
